Correspondence of the labor commissioner's office concerning worker placement, complaints about employers' unfair labor practices, violations of the minimum wage law, complaints by employers against employment agencies, questions regarding proper wages and related issues, employment and unemployment as it relates in particular to highway construction and city improvement projects, requests for copies of laws concerning labor practices and safety requirements, and information on employment conditions in other states. Correspondence for 1921 relates primarily to a survey of the state's unemployment situation.
